The hotel’s location in Place de la République is wonderful, as it is such a great public transportation hub. The property is spotless and extremely well maintained. I found housekeeping to be exemplary, quite honestly. The best I have seen in my many years of business travel, even when staying at 5-star hotels. The reception staff could not have been nicer, either. I needed to check in at 8 am and they very kindly accommodated me, offering me a choice of rooms, even! (Of course, this was only possible because they had vacancy at that early hour…. But considering how other hotels want to charge you extra, even if a room is ready for your arrival before the official check in time, I just think it’s worth noting.)

Very good hotel in a great, lively area of Paris, with lots of bars, restaurants and shops all around. Metro station just in front of the hotel's door, with 5 metro lines (3, 5, 8, 9 and 11) which will get you anywhere you want in the city. Easy reach from Charles De Gaulle airport (change to metro line 5 at Gare du Nord train station). Smallish but adequate room with good bathroom. Very clean. Good buffet breakfast (14 euros per person). Friendly and helpful staff. Very reasonable room price for Paris. All in all great value. Will gladly stay there again in our next visit to Paris.

A charming hotel with Parisian vibes in a very convenient location – with the metro stop right outside the door. Having access to private parking was a bonus, as we left our car and traveled around the city by metro. We got a room with a balcony and were quite charmed with it. On our first night, there was a thunderstorm and we watched lightning in the dark Parisian sky. The staff were really kind and helpful, and the cleaning staff did a great job, the rooms and bathroom were immaculate.

We booked very last minute in the early hours of the morning due to safety concerns from a different accommodation, and the staff on call was very accommodating. They also guided us on which trains to take and at what time to check out to get to our flight on time. The Republique train station is right outside the hotel and the view from the room was very nice too. Our experience with Hotel Paix Republique was overall very positive.

The staff are SO kind and genuinely helpful, they made us feel so welcome and cared for, I have never had such a warm experience from a hotel team. The bed and pillows were exceptionally comfortable, I'm someone who usually can't sleep well in any hotel, but I felt the bed was the most comfortable I've ever found in a hotel.
